Irish Dancing Dress

HOW TO COMPETE

It's FREE! To compete, simply fill out the form and submit a link to a video of you dancing your own treble reel. The best way to link to your video is through YouTube.com or MySpace.com. If you do not have an account at either of these sites, sign up! It's quick and easy, and it's FREE! Upload your video on YouTube or MySpace and then send us the link to your video in our form.

Dancers will compete with other dancers at their own level, however there will be no division of age groups. (For example a 9 yr Prelim dancer and a 27 yr Prelim dancer WILL compete against each other. But a 12 yr old Novice dancer and a 12 yr Open Champ dancer will NOT compete against each other.)

Try to make your video clear so everyone can see your dance well, but don't hesitate to send in a video that isn't perfect. It's not a film contest. :) Entries into the Annual World Irish Dancer Online Feis will be accepted from 12:00 AM MST January 1st, 2009 to 12:00 PM MST June 31st, 2009.

Judging will be People's Choice! Everyone who visits World Irish Dancer (including those who are competing in the feis) will have the opportunity to cast one vote for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, and honorable mention in each competition level. Levels will be Beginner, Novice, Prizewinner, Preliminary Championship, and Open Championship.

Judging will run from 12:00 AM MST July 1st, 2009 through 12:00 PM MST December 1st, 2009. At which time World Irish Dancer will announce the winners! All feis winners will recieve a flashy graphic medal to show off on their blog or website.
